Who we are

Through yoga, Āyurveda and contemplative practices, we support others in reconnecting with their own inner intelligence, cultivating balance and moving toward healing that is grounded, respectful and sustainable.

These traditions are approached not as techniques to extract, but as living systems shaped by lineage, culture and careful study.

At Lokāh, our role is to listen carefully, offer practical tools drawn from yoga and Āyurveda, and support your capacity for reflection, discernment and steady practice in daily life.

We do not offer answers to impose, but pathways to help you rediscover your own.

Meet Lizabeth

My work is rooted in a simple truth: the wisdom you seek already lives within you. As Baba Hari Dass taught, “Your own Self is the real guru.” I am here to help you listen more closely.

My path began early, when yoga first entered my life and quietly became a steady companion through decades of practice, study and lived experience. Over time, this deepened into an intimate relationship with the classical sciences of yoga and Āyurveda, not as trends or tools to be borrowed, but as time-honored systems meant to be approached with humility, discipline and respect for their origins.

Life has been my greatest teacher. As an educator, a mother navigating the world of severe non-verbal autism, and a woman meeting illness, stress and profound responsibility, I have come to understand healing as something practical, embodied and deeply human. Strength, śakti, is not something we acquire; it is something we remember through sustained practice and self-inquiry.

Through yoga, Āyurveda and contemplative practices, I support others in reconnecting with their own inner intelligence, cultivating balance and moving toward healing that is grounded, respectful and sustainable.
